Not all roof windows are suitable for low-pitch roofs, because shallow angles make it harder for water to drain away properly, increasing the risk of leaks. To solve this, VELUX has developed a range of specially designed roof windows and flashing kits that are tested and approved for roofs with pitches as low as 10 degrees.
These low-pitch windows feature enhanced sealing systems, larger drainage gutters, and tailored flashing kits to ensure water tightness even on flatter slopes. They’re engineered to the same high standards as the rest of the VELUX range — offering excellent insulation, ventilation, and natural light without compromising on performance.
