Sean Rose
Owner & Director
After leaving school in 2005 eager to learn a trade, Sean sent letters to local tradesmen. His journey into the roofing industry officially began in 2007 when he landed a role as a labourer, learning the ropes alongside experienced roofers. When the pandemic forced building sites to close in 2020, Sean took the initiative to buy his own ladders and tools, built a website, and founded ROSE ROOFING to support his young family.
Over the last six years, he has steadily grown that initial leap of faith into a highly trusted, Bedford-based business. Today, as Owner and Director, Sean is usually the first friendly face customers meet during the initial pricing of a project. While overseeing the day-to-day management of the team, he is constantly working to elevate the customer experience—from introducing flexible payment options to securing new industry accreditations. Driven to take ROSE ROOFING to the next level and manage even larger projects, he has recently passed his NVQ Level 6 in Construction Management.
At the core of his leadership is a strict standard for quality: no cutting corners and no taking the easy route. Whether managing a straightforward repair or navigating the unexpected challenges of a large-scale refurbishment, Sean ensures the team turns up when promised, communicates transparently, and leaves every customer with a flawless, leak-free roof.
When he isn’t managing the business or out on-site, Sean is a dedicated family man. He loves spending his free time with his partner and two young daughters, whether they are enjoying a weekend break away, tackling the rides at a theme park, or, whenever time allows, hitting the slopes for a skiing trip.

Jake Cowell
Operations Manager
Jake delivers organised, high-quality roofing projects with positivity and professionalism.
Jake has been with ROSE ROOFING for two years and plays a key role as Operations Manager. With a background in carpentry and roofing, he started in first-fix carpentry at just 16, giving him a strong understanding of how roofs are built from the ground up.
Jake focuses on quality, organisation, and making sure every project runs smoothly from start to finish. He takes pride in keeping customers informed and delivering work to a high standard. Known for his positive attitude, Jake is rarely without a smile, even on the busiest days.
Jake has recently completed a Level 3 NVQ Occupational work supervision (Construction) as well as holding a Level 2 NVQ in Capentry.
Jenny Thorpe
MARKETING MANAGER
Jenny delivers clear, strategic marketing, strong SEO performance, and digital presence.
Jenny joined ROSE ROOFING last year as Marketing Manager and is responsible for the company’s online presence, including social media, website content, and branding. Her work helps ensure customers feel informed and confident from their very first interaction with the business.
She brings 19 years of marketing and SME operations experience across the UK and internationally, spanning financial services, construction, materials testing, and the leather supply chain. With over 10 years of experience in SEO, Jenny focuses on clear, honest communication and reaching the right audience effectively.
Throughout her career, Jenny has progressed into senior management roles, developing strong leadership experience in both marketing and operational functions. She continues to build on this foundation at ROSE ROOFING while balancing her professional development with family life. As a parent of a young family, Jenny works part-time to ensure she can balance her caring responsibilities while continuing her career progression.

With an incredible 40 years of experience under his belt, Nick is a true veteran of the trade and the Lead Specialist here at ROSE ROOFING. He originally began his professional life in steel fabrication but eventually found himself looking for a change of direction. Drawn to the unique, hands-on challenges that roofing presents, he made the switch and has been mastering the craft ever since.
When it comes to finishing a roof, Nick has two unwavering priorities: top-tier quality and complete customer satisfaction. He never considers a project complete until the workmanship is flawless and the customer is entirely happy with the final result.
Alex Stupar
Pitch & Flat Roofer
Experienced roofer with 32 years’ expertise delivering disciplined, high-quality pitched and flat roofing.

Bringing a solid 32 years of experience to the team, Alex is an expert in both pitched and flat roofing. After completing his service in the army, he was looking for a fresh, demanding challenge in civilian life. The roofing trade provided exactly the kind of hands-on, rigorous work he was searching for, and he has been dedicated to the craft ever since.
With a strong work ethic and a highly disciplined approach to every project, Alex’s golden rule for finishing a roof is simple and straightforward: he never compromises on quality. He ensures that every detail meets exacting standards before he considers the job done.
Craig Lee

With an impressive 35 years in the trade, Craig brings a wealth of hands-on experience to the ROSE ROOFING team.
Roofing is truly in his blood—he naturally followed in the footsteps of his father, who was a lifelong roofer, passing down decades of traditional knowledge and a deep respect for the craft.
On site, Craig has a strict standard he never wavers on: exceptional quality and absolute cleanliness. He takes immense pride in ensuring every project is finished to the highest possible standard and the property is left spotless.
Joe Harding
Junior ROOFER
2 years of roofing experience, plus bricklaying training and great client feedback.

Joe is a dedicated Junior Roofer at the start of an exciting career in the trades.
Building on a solid foundation from his college bricklaying course, he has spent the last two years honing his skills on the roof.
Known for his strong work ethic and versatility, Joe handles everything from gutter cleaning to driving our tipper truck safely to and from job sites.

Niamh Mcclelland

As one of the youngest members of the ROSE ROOFING team, she brings fresh enthusiasm and a strong foundation to every project. Having started her journey in roofing at 16, she dedicated her first two years to rigorous training with M&J Roofing, earning her NVQ Level 2 in Roof Slating and Tiling.
Now at the start of her professional career, she is eager to build on her technical training by working alongside our most experienced tradespeople. Her focus is on learning every nuance of the trade, mastering traditional slating and modern tiling techniques, and delivering top-quality workmanship for our clients.
Tyler Harmes
Junior ROOFER

For Tyler, every job was a step toward mastering the trade. Over two years at a local Bedford-based roofing company, he built a solid foundation handling everyday repairs, stripping old tiles, and working through unpredictable weather.
